‘The Drowning Elite’ Short Film

Yesterday Emma spent the day at Sydney Film School shooting the High Definition short Film ‘The Drowning Elite’ by director Kyle Sellers.

The story is based on the character of Olivia (34 years old),  a heart-wrenchingly beautiful cover girl, who wakes one morning realising that she’s not going to be that way forever. In an industry based on perfection, Olivia is learning the hard way that she’s easily replaceable; a reality that applies to her personal life as much as her professional one.

Emma plays the supporting role character ‘Amanda’. She is one of the younger up and coming models who will soon be replacing Olivia.

The film portrays the entertainment/modeling industry as one which churns out a beautiful woman, only to be replaced very harshly.

The film will be distributed nationally and internationally through film festival circuits and will have its first screening in early December.
